This role requires deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and network automation tools to ensure scalability, reliability, and security across the organization’s technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and can lead initiatives that drive automation and efficiency.Key Responsibilities, • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure cloud environments across AWS and Azure., • Optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and scalability., • Implement best practices for cloud architecture, governance, and security., • Develop and maintain automated network deployment and management systems using Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent tools., • Ensure seamless integration between cloud and on-premises network environments., • Troubleshoot and resolve network performance and security issues., • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using IaC., • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines for network and infrastructure automation., • Evaluate and implement automation tools and frameworks to enhance operational efficiency., • Implement and monitor alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) to ensure reliability and uptime.Required Experience, • 5–8 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, networking, and automation., • Proven proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)., • Hands-on experience using Ansible, Terraform, or similar network automation tools., • Deep understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls., • Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation., • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices., • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, or similar)., • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (a plus).Required Skills, • Cloud infrastructure design and optimization, • Network automation (Terraform, Ansible), • Infrastructure as Code (IaC), • DevOps and CI/CD integrationPreferred Skills, • Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration, • Cloud cost management and monitoring, • Cross-platform integration (AWS, Azure, on-prem), • Advanced troubleshooting and network securityAdditional Skills, • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environmentBenefits, • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans, • 401(k) Retirement FundAbout the ClientA leading sustainable energy company with a footprint in 24 U.S. states and $40 billion in assets, serving 3.3 million electric and natural gas customers across the Northeast.
