Required Responsibilities/Skills Include: Must be an experienced litigation legal secretary well versed in the litigation process; Must have a thorough knowledge of filing requirements in State and Federal Courts (including the new e-filing requirements); Must have experience with employment class actions matters (i.e. PAGA letters, etc.); Must have strong knowledge of MS Office, Wordperfect; Must be able to assist attorneys in responding to basic discovery requests; Must know how to arrange for service of process, court reporters for depositions, etc.; Must know how to calendar hearing dates and filing deadlines. Salary: $20-$30/hr (DOE) + health insurance + paid sick days + paid parking. All inquiries are kept confidential.
