Job Description Here at BAE Systems, Pipe Fitters are assigned to remove, target, fabricate, repair, install system per drawings and test marine piping systems onboard ships in various stages of repair and modernization. Pipe Shop mechanics perform a variety of skilled duties such as general pipe fitting, burning/brazing, use of various mechanical attached fittings (MAF), sketching and testing of various piping systems in shop or onboard the vessel.
