What does your job entail?
As a valued member in our Front Office team you are responsible for an incredible hello and goodbye for our guests. Together with your team, you ensure that guests do not forget their experience at Mercure London Bridge hotel.
You are visible in our lobby and you enjoy telling our guests everything about the hotel and the Southbank area. Aside from your regular responsibilities, such as welcoming guests at check in and saying see you and check out, answering guest queries and creating ‘sparkles’ (memorable moments) for our guests.
Someone else would describe you as a committed manager with human knowledge, a distinct personality and someone who can work in a structured way. And, not entirely unimportant; you work varying services from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. or from 3 p.m. to 11 pm with the occasional night shift (11pm - 7am). So you can organize your free time flexibly!
In short: You take care of your guests and your colleagues. When someone is angry, you can turn that over to a smile. When someone has a problem, you solve it. You are the face of Mercure London Bridge.
