Reporting to a Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing support to our Independent Living Sheltered Schemes. Your responsibilities will include offering a front line service while ensuring the safety and well-management of our schemes to support residents in living independently within active communities. To excel in this role, you must possess a full clean UK driving license with access to your own vehicle, and be willing to work 5 days a week on schemes, demonstrating an understanding of the diverse needs of older people, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively under pressure. What you'll be doing • Deliver an effective customer focused housing management and support service working with multi-agency partners which embraces Southern Housing culture, current and future legislation, policy, procedure and best practice., • Deliver the service in line with agreed parameters for the role., • Conduct assessments of risk and need and provide personalised support to residents. - replace with - Providing a customer facing service to residents, have regularly contact with them, including making daily welfare calls., • Understand the housing management performance targets relevant to your scheme(s) and take action to contribute to their achievement., • Work closely with other agencies to ensure residents are able to access a full range of services and support., • Maintain administration systems and databases, processes and accurate records and provide monthly performance reports and information for other reports, as required. You will be responsible for managing complex complaints, responding to member enquiries, and identifying opportunities to improve service quality and operational effectiveness. Lead and manage Housing Needs complaints, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and.

Core working hours are usually 8:30am-4:30pm or 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Potential for overtime as needed. Scope of Position: Ensure the accurate and timely movement of freight and information of exports out of EU and UK worldwide, while providing exceptional customer service and ownership of processes. Support both Forwarder and KC Shipping Team in shipping from Europe, managing bookings and creating export documentation. Major Duties and Responsibilities: • First contact for key customers with responsibility to build strong relationships and resolve issues in a timely manner, • Liaise with Maersk control tower for operational tasks and issues, • Tracking and tracing shipments for customers, • Maintain accurate customer information for shipment processing, • Understand team process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency, • Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed as per work instructions, • Building and maintaining strong relationships with the customer, load sites but also our branches involved in organising shipments, • Book orders received with the nominated shipping line or forwarder, • Ensure that container loading are booked in to Transwide. Liaise with KC loading sites to resolve problems on loading, • Coordinate Conformity Inspections at our loading sites prior to export where required, • Ensure that Shipping documentation is accurate, • Ensure every shipment file have all necessary auditable documents, • Provide exceptional customer service to the KC team and ensure proactivity also in our communications, • Support team priorities and initiatives to ensure workloads are effectively managed, • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, • Send original documents when required in a timely manner, • Drive process improvements to ensure right-first-time customer service, • Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer’s policies / requirements, • Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and updated in the Workflow, • Meet KPI standards, as per the company’s procedures, • Handling and actioning of complaints or queries, • Proposing solutions to customers of preferred method of freight movement (ocean to air, consolidation at gateways etc) Personal Development: • Training and tagging with team members to learn ocean process, • On the job training will be provided.
