North Lanarkshire Council is seeking an Infrastructure Team Lead to oversee the design, development, and support of secure access services that protect Council systems and data while supporting flexibility for staff. As the leader of the Secure Access team, you will manage critical technologies including firewalls, VPNs, secure web gateways, and cloud security solutions. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver resilient, scalable, and user-focused services aligned with Council strategies. What you’ll bring: • Degree, SVQ4, HND or equivalent in an ICT-related discipline., • Training or certification in best practice frameworks (Prince2, ITIL) and ideally cyber security (e.g., CISSP, CISM)., • Significant experience in ICT infrastructure development and support, including secure access technologies and cloud-based security solutions., • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a technical team., • Lead the Secure Access team to deliver robust, compliant, and innovative solutions., • Oversee design, implementation, and continuous improvement of secure access infrastructure., • Manage supplier relationships and ensure service quality.
