This is a varied position where your expertise will directly contribute to raising standards across fire risk awareness, compliance, and safety practice.\n\nIf you’re looking for a role where your work has real-world impact and supports the continuous improvement of fire safety competence across industry, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career further.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Support learners through their qualification journey, providing clear, structured, and actionable feedback\n\n * Assess learner work and track progress against programme requirements\n\n * Deliver guidance on assessment processes across both online and classroom settings\n\n * Conduct Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) to ensure consistency, compliance, and high standards\n\n * Mentor and support assessors, promoting best practice and standardisation\n\n * Manage your caseload effectively, meeting deadlines and quality expectations\n\n * Contribute to the continuous improvement of assessment materials and processes\n\n * Identify and address any issues relating to plagiarism or malpractice\n\n * Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to enhance learning quality\n\nQualifications\n\n * Level 4 qualification in Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)\n\n * GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, or relevant experience\n\nSkills\n\n * Excellent written and verbal communication\n\n * Strong attention to detail\n\n * Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines\n\n * Proactive and solutions-focused approach\n\n * Strong organisational and time management skills\n\n * Confident stakeholder engagement and relationship-building\n\n * Collaborative mindset with a willingness to share knowledge\n\nExperience\n\n * Experience assessing or supporting learners in a professional or technical environment\n\n * Knowledge of fire safety disciplines such as fire doors or passive fire protection\n\n * Experience delivering structured, constructive feedback\n\n * Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel\n\n * Experience conducting fire risk assessments and report writing\n\n * Experience working with regulated qualifications or awarding bodies\n\nBlue Eskimo is the leading provider of specialist recruitment for the Learning and Development, e-learning and Training sectors.
