ABOUT US As part of the Birmingham Forward Steps Partnership, we provide early years and family support for children aged 019 (or 25 with SEND). Our Childrens Centres and Family Hubs across Erdington, Hodge Hill, PerryBarrand Sutton Coldfield offer safe, welcoming spaces where families can access support, advice, and activities.From parenting groups and sensory rooms to health referrals and stay-and-play sessions, our experienced teams walk alongside families,helping them build on their strengths and navigate challenges. We also offer links to childcare, midwifery, and employment support. Whether face-to-face or through our Digital Family Hub, everything we do is driven by compassion, fairness, and a commitment to childrens wellbeing.Join us and help make a difference where it matters most. ABOUT THE ROLE 3-5 days delivering in local hubs, family homes or community venues, meeting families face to face, working with families and professionals in providing the right help at the right time tofamilies. Virtual and face to face support tailored tofamily's needsacross the streams, including occasional evening and weekend sessions. Using Microsoft Teams, Outlook and SharePoint to complete admin and reporting tasks. Gathering feedback from parents and partners to support quarterly data and evaluation Working collaboratively with Family Hub Practitioners, Parenting and Group Workers andCommunity and Family Navigators, as part of a supportive, multi skilled team Youllreceive a strong induction, regularsupervisionand the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and values led environment. ABOUT YOU You hold a level 3 qualification (e.g. Health and Social Care, Working with Parents) orequivalent experience Experience supporting families with young children (0-5), including home visits,assessmentsand structured interventions Excellent listening,communicationandproblem-solvingskills Knowledge of safeguarding, early helppathwaysandcommunityresources The flexibility to workacross locations and occasionally during evenings or weekends to meetfamilyneeds You'resomeone who wants to grow,you'rekeen to learn, open to feedback, and looking for a role where you can develop your skills and make a long-term impact.
