We take pride in delivering an excellent service. Cumming Group as seeking to recruit a Financial Auditor to join our team in Manchester. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Auditor with a strong understanding of risk-based internal audit methodologies and core financial management principles. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant or an audit professional with a background in internal or external audit within business, blue-chip organisations, or professional services firms. Key Responsibilities • Conduct internal financial audits to assess risks, controls, and compliance with financial regulations, • Apply risk-based audit methodology to identify control weaknesses and improvement opportunities, • Evaluate the effectiveness of financial management practices, reporting accuracy, and internal controls, • Analyse financial data and systems to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and accounting standards, • Prepare clear and concise audit reports with findings, risk assessments, and actionable recommendations, • Work collaboratively with finance and operational teams to support continuous improvement Requirements • Over 5 years of relevant experience in financial auditing, • Recognised accountancy qualification (e.g. CCAB, AAT), or equivalent audit experience within business, blue-chip, or professional services environments, • Proven knowledge of risk-based internal audit methodologies, • Strong understanding of fundamental accounting and financial management concepts, • Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills, • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Cumming Management Group is committed to creating a diverse workplace and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
