Enterprise Services Principal Administrator (Identity) Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Salary: £90,000 per year Position Purpose Our client is on an ambitious journey to modernise its IT infrastructure and application portfolio, delivering resilient, cloud-native, and hybrid on-premises solutions. The Enterprise Services Principal Administrator will play a pivotal role in supporting this transformation, managing end-to-end physical, virtual, and cloud platforms, and driving the next phase of infrastructure modernisation. This role is critical to implementing the cloud strategy while maintaining a secure, agile, and optimised infrastructure environment. Key Responsibilities • Develop, communicate, and maintain 3–5 year infrastructure roadmaps aligned with business strategy, • Lead cloud adoption initiatives and drive transformation from traditional to modern infrastructure principles, • Provide technical leadership across IT infrastructure including Ansible, Terraform, GitLab, Kubernetes, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Azure, VMWare VCF, Linux, Docker, Backup/DR, • Build strong partnerships with Infrastructure and Application teams to understand current platforms and plan future architecture, • Implement and maintain infrastructure governance processes, policies, standards, and principles, • Advise stakeholders on infrastructure solutions, risks, costs, and benefits, • Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of infrastructure services with SLA focus, • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement solutions to optimise delivery and operations, • Maintain knowledge of IT industry best practices, emerging technologies, and security trends, • Participate in the on-call rota as required Required Skills & Experience • Experience with One Identity Active Roles, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory, • Hands-on knowledge of Azure SSO (App Registrations / Enterprise Applications) and Conditional Access Policies, • Experience with Just in Time Access / Provisioning and zScaler products, • Strong experience in infrastructure technologies: Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure, AWS, VMWare VCF, Backup/DR, • Proven experience in Infrastructure Automation & Orchestration (Ansible, Terraform, GitLab), • Deep understanding of core platforms, enterprise networking, data centre infrastructure, and infrastructure security, • Ability to provide technical leadership, influence stakeholders, and coach teams, • Logical and analytical problem-solving, • Ability to quickly assess technology areas and propose improvements, • Strong leadership and ability to influence at all levels, • Experience mentoring and guiding technical teams
