Job DescriptionTravel ManagerHybrid 3 Days Onsite Eligible Locations: New York, NY | Washington, D.C. | Boston, MA Salary: $100,000 - $132,000 Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct HireAbout the OpportunityHireNow Staffing is partnering with a prestigious Am Law 50 firm to identify a seasoned Travel Manager who can lead a sophisticated, high-volume travel program that supports attorneys and business professionals across global offices. This role is ideal for a polished professional who can blend strategic oversight with hands-on service, ensuring every traveler receives timely, accurate, and exceptional support.Working closely with the Director of Travel, this individual will shape the firms travel operations, optimize policies and vendor relationships, and ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across all domestic and international travel activity.This hybrid role requires candidates based in NYC, Washington D.C., or Boston only.Key ResponsibilitiesTraveler Support & Issue Management • Serve as the primary resource for all travel-related questions, escalations, itinerary challenges, and urgent requests., • Resolve service issues with discretion, speed, and professionalism while maintaining an exceptional traveler experience.Program & Policy Execution, • Partner with the Director of Travel to roll out firmwide travel initiatives, operational improvements, and policy refinements., • Oversee daily operations of the managed travel program, ensuring compliance, consistency, and cost-effectiveness.Training & Education, • Develop and lead training sessions for travel arrangers and frequent travelers, including policy interpretation, travel tool usage, and profile creation., • Communicate updates on travel procedures, vendor programs, and new system features.Vendor & Technology Oversight, • Support implementation and optimization of global travel solutions, booking tools, and technology platforms., • Build relationships with airline, hotel, and ground transportation partners to negotiate benefits, resolve issues, and elevate service.Reporting & Analytics, • Maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track travel spend, compliance metrics, forecasting, and travel patterns., • Analyze data to identify opportunities for savings, process improvements, and vendor program enhancements.Cross-Functional Collaboration, • Collaborate across administrative, business services, events, and finance teams to support firmwide operational needs., • Assist with special projects, major firm events, and time-sensitive travel requirements including occasional after-hours support.Required ProficienciesTo secure an interview, candidates must clearly demonstrate:, • Proven experience leading a managed corporate travel program within a global, professional services organization (law firm experience highly preferred)., • Strong working knowledge of the global travel industry, including airline alliances, hotel programs, and organizations such as GBTA and ACTE., • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) with demonstrated experience in reporting, forecasting, and data analysis., • Familiarity with administrative and facilities functions in complex environments., • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.Preferred Qualifications (Highly Valued for This Role), • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, operations, or related field., • 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate travel management within a law firm or highly structured professional services setting., • Strong background managing vendors, travel policies, budget analysis, and high-volume traveler needs., • Experience navigating sensitive information and working with senior-level leaders requiring discretion and attention to detail.
