Job Description We are looking for a part time detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a Contract-to-Permanent basis in Rochester, New York. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our bookkeeping processes. This part time position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to key financial responsibilities while working in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities: • Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in financial records., • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including recording and tracking payments., • Perform bank reconciliations to verify and balance financial statements., • Record and deposit cash receipts promptly and accurately., • Review vouchers and checks to confirm compliance with organizational policies., • Coordinate payroll activities in collaboration with the payroll service provider., • Prepare financial claims and post receipts to appropriate accounts., • Generate monthly balance reports and assist with the preparation of the annual budget., • Handle billing and collection of rental fees efficiently and professionally., • Proficiency in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable., • Strong skills in bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping practices., • Experience in data entry with a high level of accuracy., • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis., • Familiarity with month-end close procedures., • Knowledge of payroll processes and coordination., • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills., • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
