Position Overview A & Associates is seeking a motivated, professional, and highly organized Entry-Level Business Development Coordinator to support the company’s growing business development, sales, proposal, and client engagement efforts. This role is designed for someone who is serious about learning, growing professionally, and contributing to the continued success of the Business Development department. Key Responsibilities The Entry-Level Business Development Coordinator will support the Business Development department with daily sales, client outreach, proposal, and administrative activities. Responsibilities include: Sales & Client Outreach Support · Assist with identifying potential clients, decision-makers, and business opportunities. · Research companies, industries, procurement opportunities, events, staffing needs, and partnership opportunities. · Prepare outreach lists, contact sheets, lead trackers, and follow-up logs. · Assist with professional phone calls, email follow-ups, and client/prospect communication under direction. · Support client engagement activities, including meeting preparation, follow-up communication, and tracking next steps. Proposal & Bid Support · Assist with preparing, organizing, reviewing, and tracking proposals, quotes, bid documents, capability statements, presentations, and client packets. · Help monitor proposal deadlines, action items, required forms, attachments, and submission requirements. · Support document review by checking for accuracy, formatting, grammar, signatures, required forms, and completion of assigned sections. · Maintain proposal folders, trackers, calendars, and supporting documentation. Business Development Administration · Maintain and update business development trackers, lead lists, proposal calendars, follow-up logs, and client communication records. · Organize files, prepare meeting notes, update spreadsheets, and complete assigned administrative tasks. · Support the National Director of Business Development and Sales with scheduling, research, documentation, and special projects. · Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling company, client, proposal, and employee information. Events, Marketing & Outreach · Assist with planning and coordinating business development meetings, networking events, job fairs, outreach events, and client presentations. · Support preparation of event materials, flyers, sign-in sheets, client packets, and follow-up lists. · Assist with basic social media, marketing materials, email campaigns, and promotional content related to staffing and business development. · Represent the company professionally during internal and external events. Qualifications Required Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent required. · Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply. · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Comfortable making phone calls, sending emails, and communicating with professionals. · Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully. · Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. · Professional appearance, positive attitude, and willingness to represent the company well. · Must be dependable, punctual, coachable, and eager to learn. Preferred Qualifications · Associate degree, college coursework, or business-related training preferred. · Prior experience in customer service, sales support, administrative support, recruiting, hospitality, events, office coordination, or marketing support is a plus. · Interest in business development, sales, staffing, recruiting, proposals, marketing, events, or entrepreneurship. · Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, online research, LinkedIn, CRM systems, and AI-supported tools. · Comfortable learning new software, online portals, and business development platforms. · Ability to create or assist with spreadsheets, presentations, flyers, and client-facing documents. · Strong research skills and curiosity about how businesses grow. · Ability to remain professional when receiving feedback or working under deadline pressure. Schedule This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Some flexibility may be required for occasional events, meetings, proposal deadlines, client needs, or business development activities.
