Job Description Duties / Responsibilities: • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing network engineer and security professionals’ team., • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the team., • Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources., • Oversee Hotwire’s network infrastructure's design, implementation, and maintenance., • Ensure network scalability, reliability, and performance to support current and future service offerings., • Collaborate with other departments to integrate network solutions that align with business objectives., • Develop and implement comprehensive network security policies, procedures, and protocols., • Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats in a timely manner., • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure industry standards and regulations compliance., • Drive the strategic planning process for network engineering and security teams, aligning with company goals and industry trends., • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key vendors and stakeholders., • Lead and manage large-scale network projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget., • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables., • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress and mitigate risks., • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR)., • Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect network assets and data integrity., • Stay abreast of legal, regulatory, and technological changes affecting network security., • Scale deployment into production and support ongoing network management in partnership with Operations team., • Lead the engineering implementation and execution of multiple Product launches., • Collaborate and manage relationships with Product business leaders and Senior Executive team., • Manage the implementation for multiple engineering transformation and process improvement initiatives., • Partner with Product Management, PMO, and Operations teams to ensure successful outcomes., • Collaborate with the Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure ongoing strategy and work delivery to key stakeholders meets their expectations and appropriate handoff for post-operational support for product launches., • Lead, assess, and approve the introduction of new products, features, and patches to the production environment., • Vendor management regarding roadmap, feature requests, RFI, RFP, and RFQ, acceptance testing and certification, deployment, spares, troubleshooting, support, and maintenance., • Oversee the process of introducing proactive monitoring and automation capabilities., • Network: Design, Architecture, Deployment and Maintenance for, • Core/Backbone, peering (transit, private, public, cloud connectivity, • Server Farms/back-ends/hosting/CDN, • Backup and out-of-band networks, • Business Partners direct peers, • Network QoS, • Optical Transport: Design, Architecture, Deployment, and Maintenance, • Optical network for non-IP products, • Metro rings, • IP Address Management, • IPv4 and IPv6 management for the entire enterprise, • Customer DHCP Infrastructure, • Performance & Capacity Management, • Traffic analysis, • Bandwidth management, • Network element management, • Circuit management (leased and owned), • Peering business management, • Network Tools, • Syslog, • SNMP based tools, • Config management, • Performance management, • Security Control: Design, Architecture, Deployment and Maintenance for, • Service Provider Firewalls: hardware, virtualized, and cloud, • VPNs: site-to-site and RAS (remote access), • Load Balancers: hardware, virtualized and cloud, • IPS/IDS, • Web Application Firewalls, • DDoS threat mitigation services, • Vulnerability management, • Security Tools: Design, Architecture, Deployment and Maintenance, • AAA for infrastructure (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting), • Public Key Infrastructure and Certificate Management, • Privileged Account Management for Infrastructure, • Endpoint Protection for Infrastructure, • Traffic Analyzers, • Clocks (NTP Infrastructure), • Internal pen testing infrastructure, • System Integrity Check Tools, • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field., • 10+ years in a technical leadership position within a Network and Security Engineering team, preferably at a service provider., • Strong expertise in network design, implementation, and management., • Extensive experience with network security frameworks, protocols, and best practices., • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams., • Excellent strategic planning, project management, and decision-making skills., • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills., • Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent is highly desirable., • Must be comfortable with public speaking and presenting to large groups., • Results-oriented—ability
