Hours: Scheduled 40hrs per week Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm Compensation: $18.00 - $19.00/hr Starting DOE Full-time benefits after respective intro periods include: Employee Health, Life, Dental Insurance options paid by company, 401K, PTO, and options for supplemental coverage, vision, and FSA/HSA accounts for qualifying participants. Job Summary: Assist the hose production team to complete custom hydraulic hose orders and meet due dates by performing various duties throughout the hose production line including picking, cutting, assembling, and inspecting hose and related products to meet customer specifications. Job Requirements and Qualifications: To be eligible for the position, candidate must: • Be 18 years of age or older, • Have earned a high school diploma or GED equivalent, • Be able to lift boxes and materials up to 50lbs, • Pass a drug screen and physical examination, • Be able to stand for long periods at a time, • Exhibit excellent attention to detail, • Be able to accurately read print writing, • Be able to apply basic math principles and concepts, • Accurately follow production procedures & directions, • Be conscientious and ethical, • Work well with others, • Have the ability to use common hand tools, handle small parts, and operate assembly machines Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Identifying and pulling raw materials from warehouse used to fulfill hydraulic hose orders, • Picking, cutting, assembling, labeling, and inspecting hose and related products in regard to customer specifications, • Inspecting and examining products to verify conformance of quality standards, • Adjusting, fitting, and aligning hoses in cutting, pushing, and crimping machines, • Measuring hose lengths, diameters, and crimped ends to verify order conformity, • Calibrating machines to the correct setting in respect to the product type, size, and style, • Operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment to transport large hose reels and heavy boxes to production area., • Accurately counting and labeling products to verify order quantities and meet customer demands, • Communicating with sales representatives to identify products, check capabilities and usage, or for general order inquiries, • Keeping updated and following assembly procedures and safety practices throughout the production line, • Label, box, and bundle hose orders in preparation for shipment to customer, • Daily cleaning, organizing, and maintaining of individual workstation supplies, materials, and machine parts., • Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets or shelves, or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department., • Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method., • Opening bales, crates, boxes, and other containers., • Assisting with fulfilling walk-in customer orders when needed #hc212488
