Maintain parts usage records and order repair parts from designated suppliers, • Assist Tech III with preventative maintenance (PM's), safety maintenance inspections and annual maintenance inspections at prescribed intervals of time and usage, • Remove and replace engine, transmission and differential assemblies with Maintenance Technician III supervision., • Diagnoses and performs accurately all phases of vehicle and equipment repair under moderate supervision., • Notify supervisor of potentially dangerous equipment and corrective action taken, • Evaluates completed work prior to release and seeks approval where required, • Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary, • Adhere to FirstGroup standards, policies and procedures, • Moves vehicles safely between job and work area, • Repair and maintain all shop equipment, • Cleans vehicles as requested or required, • Other responsibility as requested or required Minimum Education or Certifications Required • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair (preferred), • Class B CDL with passenger endorsement required (or expected within 3 months of hire), • State inspection license (if required), • ASE Certification preferred. Job Description 3 month extendable contract BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Familiarity with medical products and product numbers is desirable. You are knowledgeable of shipping/inventory control practices and are able to use a computer. You must be able to stand all day and lift heavy boxes (approx. 40 lbs.). Working overtime as necessary is required POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: This important role involves customer order transactions, assembling sets and pulling products to fill customer orders, as well as pre-boxing products/sets following released procedures. You will pick (kit), pack and ship both domestic and international orders. You will be required to run Small Parcel and Trucking manifest systems such as Fed Ex and UPS. In this role, you will z-pick, z-pack, ship orders, and load/unload trucks at the docks. You may be required to pre-package material into issue quantities and locate it to the proper location. In addition, you will perform inventory transactions, conduct cycle counts and issue materials. Other responsibilities may include working in the rack area using lift trucks, pallet jacks and hand trucks. REQUIRED EDUCATION: Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
