In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: • Lead the development of statistical, financial, and/or econometric models for analysing asset performance, client reference data, securities data, derivative pricing, risk exposure, or other sophisticated concepts., • Provide analytical and project leadership for assigned areas, independently conducting advanced, complex financial analyses., • Collaborate with management to develop and implement techniques and methodologies for various types of activities and analyses., • Lead modelling projects, serving as a resource to less experienced colleagues., • Utilize technology tools such as SQL, querying, and macro development to extract data and populate models; perform light programming or system configuration as needed., • Work with management to evaluate and select the most appropriate technologies for modelling and analysis., • Apply deep understanding of relevant processes and products to support assessment of performance, risk, or valuation., • Lead complex projects supporting new or evolving processes/products or initiatives with cross-functional or enterprise-wide impact., • Interpret findings, prepare standard and ad-hoc reports, deliver results to management and other leaders, and provide recommendations based on outcomes., • Translate complex technical concepts and analyses to non-technical audiences., • Review accuracy of reports and calculations performed by less experienced colleagues., • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience, • Strong analyticaland project leadership skills., • Proficiency in Excel formulas and VBA is a must., • Proficiency in MS Access SQL and VBA is a must. What You'll Bring: (Based Skills, Knowledge & Experience X4-5 max) • Strong technical knowledge of UK R&D Tax and preparation of R&D claims., • ATT (or equivalent) qualification, • Demonstrate broad and strong technical tax knowledge and experience., • Broad experience of managing the financials on clients, delivering on budgets and negotiating fees with clients., • Experience of identifying opportunities for business development on tax clients (and ideally across other service lines).
