You must be able to interpret scale drawings where available, including advising the customer where appropriate., • Dealing with customer queries. As the main point of contact for the customer, you must be able to fully explain what you are doing and why, in addition to understanding the customers ideas and making them a reality., • Estimating and ordering of materials To be able to assess the quantities required for the job and ordering them in a timely manner to ensure the timescales of the job are kept., • Carrying out work to an extremely high standard.
