Revit / CAD Technician - MEP Nottingham £35,000 - £42,000 DOE SF Recruitment are recruiting for a Revit/ CAD technician for a well-established Building Services Engineering Consultancy based in Nottingham. About the Role You'll play a key role in supporting our engineers in producing high-quality 3D models and coordinated drawings using Revit MEP and AutoCAD. Working as part of a multidisciplinary design team, you'll be involved in projects from early design stages through to completion, helping to deliver accurate and efficient BIM outputs to support project delivery. Key Responsibilities - 3D Modelling and Drafting: Develop and maintain detailed 2D and 3D models of mechanical and electrical building services using AutoCAD and Revit. - Software and Standards: Stay up-to-date with the latest AutoCAD and Revit software developments and apply company standards consistently across all work. - Process Development: Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of Revit processes and best practices throughout the business. - Collaboration: Coordinate design work with other disciplines through regular collaboration and face-to-face meetings, ensuring accuracy and integration across all project elements. - Project Information Management: Manage the flow of design information for assigned projects, ensuring timely and accurate communication both internally and externally. - Quality and Deadlines: Deliver high-quality work within agreed deadlines, maintaining attention to detail and adherence to project requirements. Candidate Requirements - Minimum 2-3 years' experience using Revit MEP in a building services consultancy or contractor environment. - Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical building services systems. - Proficient in Revit MEP and AutoCAD (Navisworks experience desirable). - Good knowledge of BIM processes and coordination principles. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines. - Team-focused, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Desirable - Understanding of BIM processes and ISO 19650 standards. - Knowledge of Navisworks, Dynamo, or other related tools.
