Guerlain is part of the LVMH Group Job Description Provide Financial Planning, Analysis, and Controlling for Guerlain’s US-based business. This is a Temporary role lasting 5-6months. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE – REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS Internal • Reports to: VP, Finance and operationally to brand General Manager, • Positions Supervised: None, • Peers: Other LVMH Directors/Managers, direct partner to Sr Mgr Sales Development, • External Partners: Vendors, Suppliers, Agencies, Finance team (Paris), • Act as a partner to the local General Manager., • Partner daily with VP Omnichannel Sales to monitor business trends and identify risks & opportunities, • Proactively monitor yearly and monthly financial targets in collaboration with the team., • Construct and monitor budgets (Revised 1), three-year plan (2027-2029) and forecasts (sales outlooks and landing)., • Provide accurate financial information to support management in their decision-making process., • Provide monthly analysis on financial risks & opportunities by assessing current trends with key performance indicators., • Lead monthly closing for the company., • Perform detailed budget vs. actual variance analyses for P&L lines and ledger accounts monthly., • Compute accruals with logical and explainable back-ups for each month-end closing., • Analyze balance sheet accounts and formalize reconciliations to make sure our accounts are clean., • Learn and understand components and processes involved in each P&L line., • Challenge costs and allocations of costs., • Report financial information to France headquarters in a timely manner., • Validate the local income statement and balance sheet., • Clear account receivable balances every month., • Perform other financial analysis related to the current business or related to new projects., • Work closely with the Business Partnership Center: Accounting, IT, Forecasting, Purchasing, Customer Service, etc., • Approve internal ePO and purchase orders., • Code invoices and control invoicing flows., • Keep approval workflows up to date for AX and Medius systems., • Effectively manage relationship and communication (e.g. tariffs updates, etc.) with HQ based in Paris. Qualifications • Relevant experience, preferably in FP&A in the luxury, retail, and/or beauty industry, • A consistent track record for high accuracy with detail orientation & data reporting precision., • Ability to work in a time sensitive, accurate environment., • Ability to prioritize and multi-task., • Self-management skills with the strategic agility to ensure alignment and drive execution., • Entrepreneurial drive, • Ability to take initiative and work independently., • Ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion and professionalism with sensitive information., • Ability to deliver information in a clear, concise manner., • Ability to communicate effectively., • Ability to use data to assemble a narrative. Additional Information LVMH Inc. uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance and tenure. While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $90,000 - $100,000 USD.
