Overview: We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong back-end development experience to join a growing technology team in Chicago. This role will focus primarily on backend architecture and development while also contributing to modern front-end applications. The ideal candidate has experience working in fast-paced environments such as startups, SaaS companies, or agencies, and enjoys building scalable software solutions across multiple technologies. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications with a focus on backend architecture, • Build and support APIs and backend services using modern programming languages and frameworks, • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions, • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot technical issues, • Contribute to front-end development using modern frameworks when needed Required Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, Software Engineer, or Architect, • Strong backend experience with technologies such as PHP (Laravel), Go, Node.js, or Python, • Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Next.js, • Experience working with relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL), • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, • Experience with Git or other version control systems, • Understanding of operating systems and scripting (Bash or similar), • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, • Experience working in agency, startup, or fast-paced development environments Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes, • Exposure to mobile or desktop application development, • Experience working with video content or media platforms, • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
