Job Description Conducting a search on behalf of a private, growth-oriented client based in Torrance, CA. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on Bookkeeper who enjoys being deeply involved in the day-to-day accounting function and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Position Overview The Bookkeeper will play a critical role in supporting daily accounting operations and maintaining accurate financial records across multiple entities. This position works closely with leadership and the Controller to ensure timely reconciliations, clean books, and smooth close processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, business-minded, and comfortable interacting with high-profile clients while operating “in the weeds” of accounting. Responsibilities • Prepare and post journal entries, • Maintain the general ledger and perform ongoing reconciliations, • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, • Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, • Perform bank, balance sheet, and credit card reconciliations, • Handle invoicing, including manual billing processes, • Support multi-entity and intercompany accounting activities, • 3–5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience OR a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, • Ability to communicate professionally with high-profile clients, • Solid business acumen and understanding of accounting operations, • 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, • Experience participating in an ERP or accounting systems implementation, • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, • 401(k) plan, • Paid Time Off (PTO) Many of our job openings can be viewed at IND-1
