This position will support, but is not funded by, a $78 million MEGA grant from USDOT to fund a wide range of improvements to the corridor. Job Description Immediate opening for a part-time person to provide cleaning in an office environment. We are looking for a responsible person, with a strong work ethic who has strong attention to detail to perform general office cleaning duties. Typical Schedule: • Monday through Friday evenings, • 5:00pm to 7:30 pm (start times are flexible any time after 5pm) Mon-Fri Schedule Flexible Schedule Responsibilities • Sweep & mop floors, stairs, and other surfaces (inside buildings)., • Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas., • Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, etc., • Wash window sills; glass in interior doors, partition, and specified windows., • Wash glass and trim at entrance doors, interior/exterior- Wash/spot clean interior walls as appropriate daily., • Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily. Standard bathroom procedures are to damp-wipe glass surfaces, empty wastebaskets, service soap, and toilet paper dispensers, dust sills, clean tile walls, shelves, stall partitions, sweep/mop/scrub floors, etc. on rotating schedules., • Prior Cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred, but not required., • Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team, • Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment., • Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance., • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required., • Must be able to speak, interpret and read the English language with fluency., • Ability to follow schedules, keep commitments & demonstrate professionalism, • Able to bend, reach and lift up to 30 pounds comfortably., • Have a valid drivers license and your own transportation., • Follow all health and safety regulations., • Candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check, including criminal history.
