Job Description Business Systems Analyst The primary purpose of each position is to assist Community Credit Union of Florida in living out our Mission, “Always improve the financial well-being of our members and make a positive difference in our community,” by delivering outstanding service to both internal and external members. A key element of excellent service is to identify the financial needs of each member and recommend an appropriate credit union solution. The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) serves as a key link between business stakeholders, technology teams, and third‑party vendors to support and enhance the credit union’s digital and operational systems. This role focuses on understanding business needs, documenting requirements, supporting system enhancements, coordinating testing, and helping ensure systems operate reliably, securely, and in alignment with business goals. The BSA supports assigned products and platforms through day‑to‑day analysis, issue resolution, data review, and continuous improvement efforts, while developing deeper technical, business, and product knowledge over time. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Business Analysis & Requirements • Meet with business stakeholders, system owners, and end users to gather, document, and clarify business requirements and system needs., • Translate business needs into clear documentation such as user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria., • Assist in prioritizing requirements and enhancement requests in alignment with business objectives and operational needs., • Support assigned business systems and digital platforms (e.g., online banking, mobile banking, card services, loan origination, or other enterprise systems)., • Maintain working knowledge of assigned product capabilities, configurations, limitations, and integrations., • Perform day‑to‑day system administration activities, reporting, troubleshooting, and support as needed., • Work closely with Technology Delivery, Technology Operations, and the PMO to support system changes and projects., • Participate in project teams as an analyst and subject matter resource, assisting with scope definition, requirement validation, testing, and change impact assessment., • Assist with coordinating work procedures and documentation to support successful implementation and operational readiness., • Assist with or coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by:, • Developing and executing test scenarios, • Coordinating testing with business users, • Documenting test results and defects, • Support testing of system enhancements and vendor releases in test environments before production implementation., • Help monitor system usage, performance, and basic metrics for assigned systems or channels., • Review member and user feedback (e.g., support tickets, surveys, call drivers) to identify improvement opportunities., • Assist in developing recommendations to improve usability, adoption, reliability, and efficiency., • Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including BSA, AML, CIP, and CDD., • Assist with ensuring systems and processes align with security, risk management, and compliance expectations., • Support periodic contingency and disaster recovery testing activities as directed., • Assist in developing and maintaining system documentation, procedures, job aids, and knowledge base materials., • Support training efforts for new or changed system functionality in partnership with Training and business teams., • Stay current with relevant technology trends, system capabilities, and industry best practices. The environment for this position is a remote position setting, with stipulations of coming into the office based on departmental needs or by management request. MENTAL DEMANDS The incumbent in this position must be able to read documents or instruments, perform highly detailed work and problem solve; possess excellent member contact and verbal and written communication skills; conduct meetings and presentations; prepare written communications; have strong math and analytical reasoning skills; and have the ability to effectively handle stress, multiple concurrent tasks, and constant interruptions. Education: • 5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role, • Experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements, • Familiarity with system change processes, • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, • Experience in financial services or a regulated environment, • Exposure to digital banking, loan systems, card platforms, or enterprise applications, • Experience supporting system testing or UAT activities, • Basic understanding of data reporting, integrations, or APIs, • Business analysis or Agile/SDLC training or certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI‑PBA, or similar)
