Job Description The Journeyman Electrician position is active in a licensed program and assists with projects for the installation and repair of electrical power for motors, control panels and machines. Essential Job Functions: • Installation of electrical wiring for motors and controls, • Leads a crew of mechanics wiring conveyor sections, • Inspect, repair or replace, any Electrical safety hazard., • Inventory electrical parts to be shipped to customer sites., • Assist Panel build (internal) department with electrical installation and testing to control panels, • Maintains safe wiring practices per National Electrical Code 70E and Control Panel construction per Underwriters Laboratory Code 508., • 4-6 years of trade experience, • Acceptance into State Licensed Journeyman program, • Proficient with various software packages such as MS Office, AutoCAD, EPICOR or other ERP software, • Ability to understand math calculations, • Industrial and commercial experience preferred, • Ability to lead electrical projects with up to 480vac, 3 phase a/c, wiring motors and machinery, • Pneumatics and/or hydraulic experience, • Ability to read blueprints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics, • Standing and sitting for extended periods of time, • Bending, lifting, twisting, crawling for extended periods of time, • Work on the floor under equipment, • Ability to move 75 +pounds – Apprentice/Journeyman, • Exposure to High/Low voltage environments, • Exposure to extreme temperatures, • Use of ladders Unwavering Integrity We refuse to compromise our ethics and high professional standards in order to achieve desired outcomes. • We do what is right., • We treat others the way we wish to be treated., • We do nothing to betray a confidence, stretch the truth, or mislead others., • If we are unable to honor a commitment we promptly inform those affected., • We accept responsibility and apologize if we erode trust., • Our words are constructive, respectful, and supportive of others and our company., • We freely share ideas and opinions, and deal with differences professionally., • We do not compromise the safety or well-being of others or ourselves.
