Our Mission: To help hard-working New Yorkers build better tomorrows Our Vision: Be New York's most loved financial institution by helping our members build their best financial futures Overview: The Manager, Strategic Enablement provides leadership and oversight of delivering and enabling a variety of different enterprise- wide, strategic projects that deliver value to our members and employees across a wide variety of products, service and experiences. This role works directly with the various different business communities at MCU to define and communicate the overall vision, objectives, and goals of the project; prioritize project requirement and always support the team. The role will work closely with Organizational Agility to build, groom, and maintain the sprint backlog. They will be accountable and responsible for properly educating and reporting to the organization for the project’s purpose, importance (ROI), and progress, and a post implementation review. The Manager, Strategic Enablement, collaboratively leads projects by working with partners across the organization. They must work with all project members and supporting teams to identify and document all coordinating user stories, e.g. change control, communications, and training. The ideal candidate for this position is a solutionist/ problem solver, can identify processes that requires digitization, automation and efficiency enhancements. As Manager of Strategic Enablement, you will use your knowledge, skills, and abilities to take on several roles, including business strategist, project designer, market analyst, customer liaison and project owner. Responsibilities: Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following: • Defining and articulating the vision for the initiatives they lead., • Partners with key organizational stakeholders across the organization to develop and execute project roadmaps and backlogs that drive revenue, improve member engagement, optimize operations, and enhance business value., • Maintain project backlog through continuous prioritization and refinement of initiatives that align with product strategy, including identifying and securing buy-in for new opportunities., • Ensuring that enablement activities are tied to tangible, measurable metrics that that drive MCUs organizational goals, • Collaborating with internal partners to translate business needs into requirements, • Managing backlogs and prioritizing based on changing requirements., • Enable the delivery team to self-organize, remove impediments, and fostering an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and continuous improvement., • Continually identifying, communicating, documenting and addressing risks associated with new products services and capabilities., • Manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritization and time allocation., • Excel in a dynamic environment by making decision-making, working well under pressure, and adapting to frequent change, • Entrepreneurial drive, with the ability to de-construct and solve problems, to investigate drivers and figure out why things happen., • Build strong relationships and effectively influence and communicate across stakeholder groups, up and down the organization., • Synthesize complex information/ data and relay to people with less expertise., • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience., • 1 – 3 years of experience as a manager or team leader preferred., • 3 – 5 years of experience having exposure to projects or relevant experience as a Scrum Master., • Experience with Agile techniques including User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, preferred, • Experience with Robotic Process Automation, Digitization and Automation transformation and MRM platform configuration and management, • Demonstrated success in planning, organizing, and leading people and activities. Ability to motivate, direct and coach staff., • Ability to perform in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail., • Technologically proficient.
