Job Description Koch Companies is looking for an Application Developer who’s ready to take ownership of high-impact projects that power our transportation, warehousing, and logistics operations. You’ll build tools from the ground up, modernize existing systems, and collaborate with a small, experienced team to solve real business problems. This is a hands-on development role! Expect to code in C# (Windows service applications and WinForms), MVC, JSON API, and modern web technologies. We're also looking for someone who stays current and is already experimenting with or implementing AI in their work. Your insights will help shape how we bring next-gen solutions into our business. This role starts in-office for onboarding and transitions to a hybrid schedule (3 days in, 2 days remote) once you’re up to speed. Why work for us? • Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA, FSA, and more!, • Free online healthcare and mental healthcare upon hire, • 401(k) – with match!, • 6 paid Holidays + 3 Floating Holidays, • Accrued Paid Time Off from date of hire, • Company paid Life Insurance with buyup available, • Quarterly Profit Share Incentive Program As an Application Developer, you'll: * Lead impactful projects like rebuilding our customer portal from scratch * Develop API integrations for warehousing solutions * Create user interfaces for EDI systems * Write modern, efficient code in C#, MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, and APIs * Work closely with SQL DBAs to streamline application–database communication * Troubleshoot and resolve software issues * Join the IT helpdesk on-call rotation (approx. 3–4 weeks per year) * Stay current with industry standards and evaluate AI tools or automations that can improve performance Knowledge and Skills to be successful: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field., • 3+ years of software development experience., • Strong proficiency with C#, MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, and SOAP/RESTful APIs., • Experience working with SQL databases., • Experience developing mobile or web applications, • Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities., • Strong problem-solving and project management skills., • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. While offers will be based on experience and qualifications, the targeted pay range for this role is $90,000 – $105,000+ (commensurate with experience).
