Key Responsibilities We're looking for an experienced Electric Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. In this role, you'll use your technical expertise, analytical mindset, and attention to detail to repair industrial AC/DC electric motors, generators, pumps, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment, all while contributing to our culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities include: • Diagnosing, disassembling, repairing, assembling, and preparing equipment for shipment, • Performing mechanical rebuilds on electric motors, pumps, and fans, • Measuring and recording data using precision tools (dial indicators, micrometers, vibration meters, etc.), • Conducting electrical tests using multimeters, meggers, and Baker instruments, • Measuring winding resistance, RTD and heater resistances, and mechanical fits/clearances, • 5+ years of AC/DC motor repair experience, • 2+ years of team coordination or lead experience, • Strong technical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, • Ability to diagnose and repair motors, fans, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment, • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality, • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs, • Competitive Pay based on experience, qualifications and education, • Paid Time Off, • On-the-Job Training, • 401(k) Employer Match, • Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans, • Relocation Assistance (if needed - if you're the right fit, we'll make it happen) HECO, Inc. is committed to providing equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, or veteran status.
