Job DescriptionLegal Assistant - Real Estate & Trusts & Estates LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support attorneys in both Real Estate and Trusts & Estates practice areas. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and skilled in managing a wide range of legal and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Document Preparation • Draft, review, and revise documents related to real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, leases, deeds, and closing materials., • Prepare and file estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related correspondence.Research, • Conduct legal research on laws, regulations, and precedents relevant to Real Estate and Trusts & Estates matters., • Summarize findings and assist attorneys with case analysis and strategic planning.Client Communication, • Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, and third parties., • Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and maintain communication to gather information and provide updates.Administrative Support, • Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings and court appearances, and maintain organized, accurate, and confidential legal files., • Provide general administrative support including scanning, filing, and document management.Transaction Support, • Assist with real estate closings, including reviewing title documents, coordinating with title companies, and facilitating execution of closing packages., • Support Trusts & Estates administration, including asset valuation, probate filings, and beneficiary communications.Compliance, • Ensure timely compliance with deadlines, filing requirements, and regulatory standards across both practice areas., • Assist in preparing and submitting required disclosures and documentation.Team Collaboration, • Work closely with attorneys and legal staff to prioritize tasks and maintain efficient workflow., • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and productive team environment.Qualifications, • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; paralegal certificate preferred., • 2-3+ years of legal assistant experience, ideally in Real Estate and/or Trusts & Estates., • Proficiency with legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw)., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software., • Knowledge of real estate transactions, title review, and estate administration processes., • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion., • Strong analytical skills and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.Compensation $55,000 - $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
