This role performs credit management and operational analytics to help improve portfolio quality, financial outcomes, and customer/employee experience. Additional key qualifications include:, • Ability to think tactically and strategically, • Proven relationship-building skills, • Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound business decisions, • Ability to research and apply industry best practices into project management processesKey Responsibilities, • Conduct credit management and commercial banking operational reviews to support positive financial results and portfolio credit quality., • Serve as liaison between business lines to address underwriting, efficiency, or customer/employee experience challenges., • Anticipate gaps and trends to ensure alignment with regional and enterprise strategy., • Help lead or facilitate regional projects, including market-wide initiatives, reporting, expansion, consolidation, system implementations, and best-practice integration., • Act as a change agent, challenging the status quo to promote consistent commercial banking practices., • Communicate with regional leadership regarding issues, ensuring visibility and resolution (e.g., M&C Escalation, Audit Remediation Plans, Dashboards, scorecards)., • Ensure comprehensive portfolio monitoring consistent with standardized guidelines and operating policies., • Conduct periodic operational excellence reviews., • Support coaching and mentoring of credit analyst trainees to help achieve 100% compliance training completion., • Coordinate with Commercial teams to maintain focus and elevate commercial performance., • Follow credit and operational risk management strategies., • Maintain awareness of industry issues., • Participate in policy, procedure, and process development., • Provide direction and recommendations on behalf of commercial administration across initiatives.Required Experience, • Expert knowledge of commercial banking, commercial credit underwriting, commercial lending, financial analysis, and risk-rating methodologies, • Experience with Commercial Salesforce / nCino, • Previous banking or financial institution experience, • Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel), • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, • Ability to lead discussions and present to executives, • Experience identifying, creating, and refining business processesNice-to-Have Experience, • Power BI, • Jira, • Advanced knowledge of project life cycle and project management practicesRequired Skills, • Commercial banking & credit underwriting expertise, • Advanced Excel proficiency, • Strong communication and stakeholder engagementPreferred Skills, • Power BI, • Jira, • Project life cycle knowledge, • Strategic and tactical problem-solving, • Process improvementAdditional Skills, • Storytelling, • Research and interpretation of industry best practices, • Relationship building, • Decision-making, • Coaching and mentoring, • Portfolio monitoring, • Operational excellence assessment, • Change management, • Policy and process developmentBenefits, • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans, • 401k Retirement FundAbout the ClientTop 10 banks in Canada and North America offering comprehensive financial solutions.
