We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial General Manager with a strong Sales focus to lead an innovative hospitality concept combining premium hotel accommodations with a state-of-the-art golf simulator entertainment experience. This highly visible leadership role requires a unique blend of hotel operations, revenue management, business development, community engagement, and sales leadership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, maximizing occupancy, building local partnerships, and delivering an exceptional guest experience that seamlessly integrates hospitality and entertainment. The successful candidate will be a relationship-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to manage daily hotel operations while creating new revenue opportunities through corporate events, tournaments, leagues, and community partnerships. Essential Responsibilities Revenue Growth & Sales Leadership • Develop and execute strategies to maximize hotel occupancy, Average Daily Rate (ADR), and total property revenue., • Drive business development efforts through corporate accounts, group sales, meetings, events, tournaments, leagues, and private functions., • Build and maintain strong relationships with:, • Local businesses, • Golf organizations, • Chambers of Commerce, • Community organizations, • Create partnerships that increase hotel demand and golf simulator utilization., • Develop pricing strategies to optimize hotel revenue and simulator bay profitability., • Collaborate with revenue managemen to analyze market trends, competitor rates, demand patterns, and special events impacting business. Hotel & Entertainment Operations • Oversee all daily hotel and golf entertainment operations ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and operational excellence., • Lead, coach, schedule, and develop hotel and entertainment team members., • Ensure consistent execution of brand standards, service expectations, and operational procedures., • Manage guest experience from arrival through departure while creating a premium Stay & Play experience., • Ensure reservation, bookings, and operational tools are properly maintained and utilized., • Monitor:, • Occupancy trends, • Revenue performance, • Guest satisfaction scores, • Labor costs, • Simulator utilization, • Operational efficiencies Financial Performance & Business Management • Assist with annual budgeting by forecasting revenue, expenses, labor needs, and operational costs., • Manage controllable expenses while maintaining service standards and profitability., • Adjust staffing and spending based on business demand., • Review financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions., • Ensure compliance with purchasing procedures and company financial policies., • Drive profitability through effective revenue management and cost controls. Guest Experience & Service Excellence • Create a memorable guest experience that blends hospitality, entertainment, and community connection., • Train team members to promote hotel amenities, golf simulator experiences, events, and loyalty opportunities., • Handle escalated guest concerns and ensure timely resolution., • Drive strong guest satisfaction results through service recovery and continuous improvement., • Monitor guest feedback and implement strategies to improve overall satisfaction. Marketing & Community Engagement • Lead local marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and revenue., • Manage grassroots sales efforts and community outreach., • Build relationships with golf professionals, courses, businesses, and local organizations., • Represent the property at networking events and business functions throughout the Acadiana market., • Support social media and promotional efforts to drive awareness and engagement. Team Leadership & Human Resources • Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team., • Create a culture focused on hospitality, accountability, teamwork, and service excellence., • Administer company policies and procedures consistently and fairly., • Partner with Human Resources on employee relations, performance management, training, and engagement initiatives., • Maintain strong employee satisfaction and retention. Qualifications Required Experience • 3–5+ years of hotel management experience, preferably as a General Manager or senior hotel leader, with experience in extended-stay hospitality preferred., • Proven success driving revenue growth through sales initiatives and operational excellence., • Experience managing hotel operations, budgets, staffing, and guest-facing teams., • Strong understanding of hospitality standards, guest service, and revenue management. Preferred Experience • Knowledge of hotel PMS systems, reservation platforms, and revenue management tools., • Experience creating partnerships, events, leagues, or community-driven programs., • Familiarity with the Lafayette business community.
