Job Summary The Jr. Project Estimator/Project Manager works alongside the Senior Estimator/Project Manager with all estimating operations for projects across Nevada, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional client service. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic small business environment, requiring the ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results under tight deadlines. The position demands clear, professional communication with the Sr. Estimator/Project Manager, clients, vendors, and internal teams; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-motivated professional who thrives in fast-paced settings, embraces continuous learning, and consistently drives projects to successful completion Your Role: As Jr. Project Estimator/Project Manager, you will work through the estimating process for projects across Nevada delivering accuracy, efficiency, and outstanding client service under direction of the Sr. Estimator/Project Manager. In our fast-paced, small business environment, you will juggle multiple priorities, solve complex problems, and communicate with clarity. Your proactive, detail-driven approach will ensure projects are completed successfully and our clients’ needs are exceeded. Review and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and project proposals to determine financial implications. Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to maximize revenue growth as directed by the Sr. Estimator/Project Manager., • Working with Internal Production/Warehouse Manager to verify the required dates are correct and material is available for the assembly and delivery by the STT team as directed by the Sr. Estimator/Project Manager., • Organize and coordinate equipment shipping with customers and end users. Working with multiple vendors and manufacturers to have material arrive on site or drop ship in a coordinated manner as directed by the Sr. Estimator/Project Manager., • Place orders with vendors that are required on projects and handle all follow-up on those orders as directed by the Sr. Estimator/Project Manager., • Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals. Ensure that all bids comply with the necessary specifications and regulatory requirements. Prepare Requests for Information regarding discrepancies in drawings or specifications as directed by the Sr. Estimator/Project Manager., • Keep abreast of market trends and material costs. Evaluate vendor costs and analyze the impact of these on project estimates. This includes attending pre-bid conferences, sub-meetings, and project site construction meetings when needed as directed by the Sr. Estimator/Project Manager., • Work closely with external estimators, project managers, engineers, and vendors to gather necessary information for accurate project estimation while reviewing plans and specifications for the project as directed by the Sr. Estimator/Project Manager., • Contribute to the development of estimation processes and tools. Work Environment & Physical Requirements: • Must be comfortable working in an office setting., • Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including occasional weekends., • Office Hours are 8:00 to 5:00 with a 60-minute lunch., • Ability to sit for long periods of time behind a computer.
