A Credit Control Assistant is required to join a growing company in the Bilston area. A detail-orientated and proactive person is required to join their busy finance team. This is a varied role focused on credit control, purchase ledger, and sales ledger responsibilities. You will be confident working independently, have excellent communication skills, and a strong grasp of financial administration. As a Credit Control Assistant, you will be required to - • Professionally chase outstanding customer payments to improve cash flow, ensuring correct approvals and timely settlements, • Process and maintain supplier invoices accurately, • Raise and issue sales invoices, maintaining up-to-date records, • Reconcile customer and supplier accounts, resolving discrepancies, • Assist with bank reconciliations and monitor company cash flow, • Process employee expenses and support financial documentation, • Credit control, sales & purchase ledger exposure, • A basic understanding of VAT, • Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
