Job Title: Business Central Developer Job Description This role focuses on developing, supporting, and enhancing a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment within a collaborative and growing technology team. You will work with modern Microsoft technologies to build and maintain Business Central applications and integrations, while gaining exposure to cloud best practices and enterprise-grade systems. Responsibilities Assist in the development, customisation, and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central applications and extensions using AL and Visual Studio Code. Translate functional requirements into clear technical specifications, ensuring solutions are scalable and follow cloud best practices. Support internal systems by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely and professional manner. Work with SQL databases, including writing, reviewing, and optimising SQL queries to support Business Central and related systems. Collaborate closely with senior developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and implement robust, maintainable solutions. Assist in integrating Business Central with third-party services and APIs, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange. Participate in testing, debugging, and performance optimisation of Business Central applications and related components. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for system modifications, configurations, and updates. Comply with the organisation’s HR policies and Health and Safety policy at all times. Work flexibly and efficiently to meet internal and external customer needs while maintaining high professional standards. Contribute new ideas and approaches with an open and proactive mindset. Maintain confidentiality and security of systems, data, and information at all times. Understand, identify, receive, and report adverse events, product quality complaints, and other reportable patient safety events in line with pharmacovigilance regulatory and contractual requirements (training provided).Essential Skills Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar Microsoft ERP solutions. Ability to develop and customise Business Central applications and extensions using AL. Experience using Visual Studio Code for development and source management. Practical Experience with SQL databases, including writing and optimising SQL queries. Understanding of cloud-based solution design and familiarity with cloud best practices. Ability to translate functional requirements into clear and structured technical specifications. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for supporting internal business systems. Effective collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with senior developers and business stakeholders.
