\n Director of Quantitative Operations \n Up to £100,000 + Quarterly BonusRemote (UK) | London Office Available \n I'm hiring a Director of Quantitative Operations for a highly respected healthcare insights and research organisation, part of a globally recognised healthcare data and research group. This is a leadership role focused on operational excellence, team performance, and project delivery across quantitative healthcare research programmes. \n The business combines the agility and specialist expertise of a healthcare research consultancy with the backing and scale of a global organisation, delivering research and healthcare data services to pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare clients across Europe and beyond. \n The Opportunity \n This role leads the UK & European Quant Operations function, overseeing the delivery of quantitative healthcare research projects that support clinical trials, healthcare studies, and pharmaceutical research initiatives. \n Importantly, this is not a research design or insights role. \n Instead, you'll be responsible for: \n\n • Leading operational delivery teams\n, • Managing project and fieldwork operations\n, • Optimising processes and performance\n, • Developing leaders and future talent\n, • Driving operational excellence and client satisfaction\n, • Ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to the highest quality standards\n\n The team generates approximately £12m-£15m of annual project revenue, making this a highly visible leadership position. \n What You'll Be DoingLeadership & Team Development \n\n • Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 12 people across operations and project management functions\n, • Drive succession planning and team development\n, • Manage team performance, resource allocation, and utilisation\n, • Build a high-performing, delivery-focused culture\n\n Operational Excellence \n\n • Oversee day-to-day quantitative research operations across the UK and Europe\n, • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards\n, • Develop and implement best practices across project delivery and operational workflows\n, • Continuously improve efficiency, scalability, and profitability\n\n Stakeholder & Client Management \n\n • Work closely with clients to understand project requirements and operational feasibility\n, • Build credibility with senior internal and external stakeholders\n, • Ensure excellent communication between operations, client services, finance, and wider business functions\n\n Strategic Contribution \n\n • Support the implementation of departmental strategy and growth plans\n, • Partner with senior leadership to enhance operational delivery capabilities\n, • Contribute to service innovation and operational improvements across the business\n\n What They're Looking ForEssential \n\n • Strong background in quantitative research operations\n, • Healthcare, pharmaceutical, healthcare insights, or healthcare data collection experience\n, • Proven experience leading operational or project delivery teams\n, • Experience managing budgets, resources, and project portfolios\n, • Strong stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills\n, • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment\n, • Experience within market research, healthcare research, or healthcare fieldwork operations\n\n Highly Desirable \n\n • Clinical trials or healthcare recruitment experience\n, • Experience working with healthcare professionals or physician research panels\n, • Experience within healthcare insights or patient recruitment environments\n, • Exposure to ISO 20252 / 26362 standards and healthcare research regulations\n\n The Ideal Candidate \n You're likely currently operating as a: \n\n • Research Operations Director\n, • Associate Director, Research Operations\n, • Head of Operations\n, • Healthcare Research Operations Manager\n, • Quantitative Operations Lead\n, • Research Delivery Director\n, • Healthcare Fieldwork Director\n\n You'll be comfortable balancing strategic leadership with operational execution, and you'll bring the gravitas needed to influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally. \n Why Join? \n\n • Join a globally recognised healthcare insights organisation\n, • Lead a significant operational function across the UK and Europe\n, • Strong reputation within pharma and healthcare research\n, • Fully remote working available\n, • Backed by a major international healthcare business\n, • Significant autonomy and visibility\n, • Opportunity to shape and develop a high-performing team\n\n Package \n\n • Up to £100,000 base salary\n, • Quarterly performance bonus (company + individual performance)\n, • Remote-first working\n, • London office available\n, • Travel support during onboarding where required\n\n Interview Process \n\n • CV Review\n, • Online soft-skills assessment (30-45 minutes)\n, • Initial interview with Managing Director\n, • Final-stage presentation and panel interview\n\n
