Your Career As Grounds & Estates Manager, you’ll take end-to-end operational ownership of our external estate, shaping how it is maintained, developed and sustained for the future. This role offers real autonomy to plan, prioritise and improve estate operations, combining hands-on leadership with strategic oversight. You’ll play a key role in supporting environmental objectives, safety standards and continuous improvement across a complex and varied estate. Your Team You’ll work as part of a collaborative facilities and estates function, leading estates and grounds staff while coordinating closely with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders. You’ll be the trusted operational point of contact for all external estate matters, working alongside colleagues across the business to ensure our grounds, land and external buildings are safe, compliant and well presented. Strong teamwork, clear communication and practical problem solving are at the heart of how we work. Your Impact Your work will be visible every day. You’ll ensure MHR’s grounds, landscaped areas, estate roads, paths, agricultural buildings and open spaces are safe, sustainable and aligned with our standards. From supporting ISO 14001 environmental controls and biodiversity initiatives to managing Health & Safety risks, contractor performance and major estate activities, your role directly contributes to a safe, compliant and welcoming environment for colleagues, visitors and events.
