Salary: £37,500 basic + sleep-ins + up to £1,000 annual performance bonus Location: Bradford, BD14 Home Size: 3 Bed EBD – Full Capacity • £37,500 basic salary, • £50 per sleep-in, with an average of 8–10 sleep-ins per month, • Up to £1,000 annual performance bonus, • Potential earnings of £41,000+ including sleep-ins and bonus, • 2 on, 4 off shift pattern, • 28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays, • Established home operating at full capacity, • Ofsted rated Good with back-to-back Good ratings, • Experienced and established staff team, • Career progression opportunities, • Regular pay and benefits reviews, • Therapeutic approach to care, • Ongoing training and development, • Solid experience working within children's residential care, • Previous experience in a senior or supervisory position is desirable, • Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent, • Strong understanding of safeguarding, care planning and risk management, • Confident leadership skills with the ability to support and develop staff, • Child-centred, compassionate and resilient approach, • Understanding of Ofsted requirements and Children's Homes Regulations, • Strong communication, organisation and decision-making skills, • Commitment to therapeutic and nurturing approaches, • Willingness to work towards or complete a Level 5 qualification, • Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the 3-bed EBD home, • Provide effective leadership and guidance to the residential childcare team, • Act as a positive role model and promote a therapeutic, nurturing environment, • Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance are maintained, • Support the Registered Manager in maintaining the home's strong Ofsted performance, • Oversee care planning, risk assessments and behaviour support, • Ensure young people's needs, wishes and feelings remain central to care delivery, • Support staff through supervision, guidance and ongoing development, • Help coordinate staffing, shifts and the smooth day-to-day operation of the home, • Monitor records, incidents and safeguarding concerns, escalating where appropriate, • Promote positive outcomes across education, wellbeing, independence and personal development, • Build positive relationships with young people, families, social workers and other professionals, • Contribute to quality assurance, audits and continuous improvement, • Deputise for the Registered Manager when required #J-18808-Ljbffr
