We’re supporting a globally established engineering organisation delivering specialist combustion and process solutions across oil & gas, petrochemical, power and heavy industrial sectors. Due to continued growth across EMEA, their Global Field Services – Turnarounds (TAR) division is expanding. This role is predominantly focused on growing the Service and Turnaround (TAR) business within the EMEA region. It is a field-led position, leading plant shutdown and turnaround projects while working with the wider team to deliver combined service and parts solutions on a turnkey basis. • This is not a static maintenance role., • This is ownership of live industrial shutdowns., • This is leading from the front across international projects. Projects typically run 2–4 weeks (occasionally up to 6 weeks). Between assignments, you’ll be based at the Stamford facility supporting planning, technical preparation and sales support. What You’ll Be Doing • Leading plant shutdown (TAR) projects across EMEA as Project Lead, • Conducting pre-turnaround site surveys and inspections, • Supporting technical bid development and commercial scope definition, • Preparing RAMS, schedules, inspection sheets and mobilisation plans, • Reviewing manpower, tooling and parts requirements, • Providing hands-on mechanical & electrical support when required, • Coordinating expedited parts during live shutdowns, • Managing documentation (timesheets, daily reports, inspection reports), • Identifying service, upgrade and parts opportunities, • Supporting long-term growth of the Turnaround service offering You’ll work across: • Flare systems, • Flare gas recovery, • Process & power burners, • Thermal oxidisers, • Boiler burners, • Burner Management Systems (BMS), • Associated pollution control equipment What We’re Looking For ✔ Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Controls engineering background ✔ Field service, maintenance or practical engineering experience ✔ Experience in oil & gas turnarounds / plant shutdowns ✔ Strong drawing interpretation skills ✔ Confident communicator (operators to senior leadership) ✔ Willing to travel across EMEA for up to 6 weeks The Package • Salary£60,000 DOE, • Annual performance bonus + Christmas bonus, • 12% employer pension, • 27 days holiday + bank holidays, • BUPA private healthcare, • Structured technical and safety training (CCNSG etc.), • Clear global progression pathway This role suits an ambitious, technically capable engineer who thrives in live shutdown environments and wants real ownership of international turnaround delivery.
