Headteacher - Birmingham\n \n Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 + Bonus Scheme | Full Time (40 hours/week)\n Outstanding Ofsted Rating\n\n Purpose of the Role\n \n The Headteacher is the lead professional and role model for the school community, responsible for providing visionary and operational leadership that ensures high quality education, safeguarding, and wellbeing for pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours.\n \n About Our Client\n \n Our client provides tailored support for pupils with Autism, ADHD and other learning difficulties and disabilities, focusing on fostering their academic, social and emotional development.\n Areas of focus include sensory integration strategies, social skills training and executive functioning support to help pupils manage time, focus and self-regulation.\n \n Key Responsibilities\n \nDevelop strong partnerships with parents, carers, the local community, and external agencies to enhance pupil outcomes and wellbeing. \nLead the development, implementation, and monitoring of the school improvement plan, setting clear priorities and measurable targets. \nManage resources effectively, including staffing, finance, and facilities, ensuring alignment with educational priorities and compliance with statutory requirements. \nTake responsibility for the financial performance, including budget planning, monitoring expenditure, and ensuring value for money in resource allocation. \nEnsure the organisation meets statutory SEND requirements and provides tailored, high-quality support for pupils with additional needs. \nEstablish and sustain high-quality, expert teaching across all subjects and phases, based on evidence-informed practice and understanding of how pupils learn, including those with complex needs. \nCreate a culture where pupils experience a positive, enriching, and safe environment, promoting respect, inclusion, and high aspirations.
