Job DescriptionJob Title: Production Associate Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate to manage and operate the manufacturing of metal E-Rings. This role requires the use of standard measuring devices and gauges, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all manufacturing equipment involved in the production process. Responsibilities • Manufacture metal E-Rings according to documentation and procedures., • Safely operate Planish Press, Belt Sander, Roll Form Machines, Polish Equipment, and Hydraulic Presses to produce completed parts., • Read and interpret work instructions accurately., • Communicate effectively with team members regarding work order status and completion., • Perform assembly and inspection tasks.Essential Skills, • Experience as a Machine Operator and Assembler., • Inspection skills., • Mechanical inclination., • Supervisory experience., • Proficiency in computer skills., • Ability to read and write English.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • High school diploma., • Basic math skills., • Must be able to lift 25 pounds., • Ability to work in a team environment., • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment., • Ability to use a computer.Why Work Here? Work Environment E Ring Associates collaborate with other team members, Manufacturing Leads, and Manufacturing Support. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager. Employees frequently stand, walk, and use hands to operate machines and computers. Specific vision abilities required include close vision. Regular attendance and the ability to work cooperatively and professionally are expected. The work shifts are: 1st shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday with potential for overtime; 2nd shift from 3 PM to 12 AM, Monday to Thursday and 3 PM to 7 PM Friday; 3rd shift from 11 PM to 7 AM, Sunday to Thursday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Haven, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
