Job Description We are seeking an experienced US Government cleared Data Scientist AI/ML Architect to join our Center of Excellence (COE) in McLean, VA. The Senior Solutions Architect in the Data Science Practice Area will serve as a technical leader within the CoE, driving solution strategy, GTM technical sales leadership, technical delivery, and thought leadership around advanced analytics, data integration, and business intelligence. This individual will partner closely with customers, internal teams, and OEM partners to design and implement modern data architectures and analytic workflows, with a primary focus on Qlik, Elastic, Confluent, and Databricks technologies. You will guide customer engagements from discovery through solution deployment while also contributing to technical innovation, practice maturity, and technical enablement across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design and implementation of advanced data integration, analytics, and AI solutions., • Serve as Swish’s subject matter expert for Qlik, Elastic, Confluent, Data Bricks data integration and business analytics platforms., • Architect end-to-end data solutions including ingestion, transformation, modeling, and dashboarding., • Support pre-sales efforts by developing architectures, conducting demos, and crafting solution recommendations., • Mentor technical staff and contribute to the development and growth of the Data Science Practice Area., • Engage with customers to understand business objectives and translate them into scalable technical solutions., • Develop reusable architectures, best practices, and solution accelerators for the CoE., • Collaborate with OEM partners to stay current on technology capabilities, roadmap updates, and joint solution offerings., • Support proposal development and technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and related opportunities. Required Skills & Experience • Active DoD Security Clearance; Secret Required, TS preferred., • Deep expertise with Qlik solutions (Qlik Replicate, Compose, Sense, QDI stack) including data integration, data modeling, and analytic application development., • Strong background in business analytics, data architecture, and enterprise data workflows., • Proven experience designing and deploying enterprise data integration and BI solutions., • Ability to lead customer conversations, shape solution strategy, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly., • 15+ years of experience in Federal data engineering, analytics, solution architecture, or related technical roles. Nice-to-Have Skills • Experience with Databricks (data engineering, notebooks, Delta Lake, ML workflows)., • Elastic Search, DataRobot, Snowflake, Confluent, UiPath, Appian, • Familiarity with cloud data architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)., • Knowledge of data governance, MDM, and advanced analytics frameworks. Education & Certifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience., • Relevant vendor certifications (Qlik, Databricks, Confluent, Elastic, AWS, etc.) preferred.
