As assigned will work closely with managers and supervisors to develop and implement processes across the agency. Review and analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvement. WHAT YOU WILL DO: • Provide leadership and support business units and system partners through requirements gathering, process development, and training programs in collaboration with responsible teams., • Monitor project plans, align resources, and manage change., • Lead and direct the work of others on assigned projects with creativity and latitude to achieve superior results that advance the organization’s mission., • Coordinate and oversee assigned projects review process using a Project Prioritization Matrix., • Develop training materials necessary for project implementation., • Provide orientation and training on tools and methods of quality assessment and performance improvement activities., • Initiate, facilitate, monitor, and evaluate quality improvement projects., • Provide information to the agency as needed about the quality of the agency’s processes and procedures., • Maintain confidentiality and assure necessary and appropriate access to quality assessment and performance planning records or documents., • Prioritize and handle multiple and diverse tasks simultaneously., • Maintain confidentiality as appropriate., • Understand how to portray the strengths of the organization., • Produce complete and accurate products with minimum turnaround time., • Maintain orderly and accurate filing systems related to specific responsibilities., • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal., • Bachelor’s Degree required., • Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Nonprofit Management or related field preferred., • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in hospice, home health or health care-related environment including two (2) years managerial experience or equivalent., • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Quality Assurance or Continuous Quality Improvement processes., • Six Sigma and/or Project Management certification preferred., • Excellent communication skills both at the C-level and with peers., • Experience making decisions in difficult situations and ability to take ownership for decisions seeking advice where appropriate., • Two years’ experience in staff development and training., • Hospice and non-profit experience. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This is sedentary work requiring the exertion of up to ten (10) pounds of force occasionally and some light work and lifting requiring the exertion of up to 20 pounds occasionally; work requires sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, standing, fingering, grasping and repetitive motions; vocal communication; hearing, and visual acuity. Employee is not subject to adverse environmental conditions.
