Job DescriptionLitigation Paralegal Pay Rate: $35-$40 per hour DOE Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA Job Type: Contract-to-Hire, Full-Time, Onsite LHH is partnering with a large national law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal on a contract-to-hire basis to support a busy business litigation practice in Downtown Los Angeles. This role requires a hands-on paralegal with strong trial preparation experience and the ability to manage matters from pleadings through trial. There is strong potential for conversion based on performance and business need. Key Responsibilities • Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, from initial pleadings through trial and post-trial support, • Prepare for trial, including trial binders, witness files, exhibit preparation, and trial logistics, • Independently handle court filings and ensure compliance with deadlines in state and federal courts, • Draft pleadings, correspondence, discovery materials, and other legal documents, • Organize, maintain, and manage case files and litigation calendars, • Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel, • Support discovery processesQualifications, • 4+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal; strong business litigation background preferred, • Trial preparation experience required, • Paralegal certification required, • Strong knowledge of California state and federal court filing procedures, • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills, • Strong written and verbal communication skills, • Experience with eDiscovery tools is a plus, not a requirementBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
