GAI seeks a skilled, highly motivated, results-driven T&I Senior Marketing Specialist 1 to join our dynamic Transportation & Infrastructure team. This challenging and rewarding position will include coordinating the pursuit process and preparation of winning proposals, LOIs, qualifications, and presentations; producing marketing collateral; and supporting business-development goals in collaboration with GAI's business sector leaders and marketing, technical, and administrative staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Participate in kick-off meetings, proposal task scheduling, review, production, and delivery activities, • Follow through with assigned proposal tasks to meet critical deadlines, • Coordinate with internal and external points of contact to gather requested information and materials, • Track proposal efforts and ensure scheduled milestones are met, • Assist in writing marketing and technical content, • Proofread to ensure continuity and compliance with legal, technical, and marketing specifications, • Support presentation efforts including presentation development, rehearsals, materials, and logistics, • Maintain and populate detailed data in GAI's Deltek Vantagepoint database, • Provides assistance of marketing activities to support pursuit, client, and business plan objectives and contributes to the implementation of these activities including but not limited to conferences, events, sponsorships, design award submittals, speaker proposal/presentations, brochures, service briefs, project profiles, etc., • 10+ years of related experience as a proposal specialist/coordinator, prior AEC industry experience preferred, • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, • Deltek Vantagepoint (or similar database programs) experience is a plus, • Competent proofreading and editing skills, • Excellent communication and organizational skills, • Able to document and process information quickly and accurately, with strong attention to detail, • Flexible and able to balance priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously within tight schedules, • Able to work both independently and as part of a team, • Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, on a limited basis, to meet proposal deadlines, • Able to travel to surrounding states (several times throughout the year) General Characteristics • Demonstrates progress in assisting Task Managers and Project Manager as needed on technical aspects of the project; well[1]rounded in aspects of consulting and the industry., • Collaborates under direction and supervision of senior staff across one or more of the following areas:, • Proposals: Leads smaller/less complex to mid-sized proposal efforts. Leads and/or supports larger/more complex efforts under the direction and supervision of senior staff/supervisor., • Special Projects: Leads and supports special projects under direction and supervision of senior staff/supervisor., • Business Development Activities (includes supporting BD activities for a market and any associated sponsorships, advertising, client events, conferences, etc.): Leads smaller/less complex to mid[1]sized BD Activities. Supports large/more complex BD Activities under the direction and supervision of senior staff/supervisor., • Data Management: Leads the updating of data management systems as it relates to assignments that the individual is leading., • Demonstrates progress in assisting with the supervision of technical studies within assigned tasks; Can serve as task manager on small to medium tasks requiring specialized technical expertise; Maintains GAI's procedures and protocols; Assists with identifying and scoping technical studies required for projects.
