Job DescriptionOne of CEI's largest Utilities / Energy clients is seeking an Executive Assistant to join their growing organization!Client/Industry: Electric Utilities & Energy Distribution Job Title: Executive Assistant Location: 100% Onsite | Akron, OH 44320 Work Schedule/Shift: Mon-Fri | Minimum 40 work hours per week. Duration/Length of Assignment: 6 Month Contract to Hire Pay Rate: $38.00 per hour Additional Information: In-person SASS testing required prior to interviews. • W2 Employment Only – No Corp to Corp / C2C arrangements., • Expected potential for contract extension(s) and/or conversion to Full-Time/Permanent Employment. Required Skills/Experience/Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED, • Minimum 10 years of overall work experience, with past experience supporting a senior-level executive strongly preferred, • Ability to pass company Support and Administrative Selection System (SASS) test, • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, • Experience with SAP for administrative functions; strong skills using internet research tools, • Experience with SAP for corporate check processing, expense reporting, time reporting, and familiarity with Concur travel system, • Strong verbal and written communication skills, • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail, • Ability to independently manage workloads, meet deadlines, and perform well under time-sensitive conditions, • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a professional approach in all interactions, • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across internal and external groups, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on task accuracy, • Ability to work independently on special assignments as needed, • Ability to make recommendations for process improvements, • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, • Ability to lead by example, maintain a questioning attitude, and continue learning and developingPreferred Skills (Not Required):, • Experience supporting a CHRO, C-Suite executive, or large HR leadership team, • Familiarity with Concur for travel processing, • Coordinating daily office operations and providing comprehensive support for either the CHRO or the HR Leadership Team, including consistent follow-through and alignment with leadership priorities, • Managing and updating a complex executive calendar, scheduling meetings and conference calls, coordinating availability, resolving conflicts, and ensuring leaders are prepared for scheduled commitments using Microsoft Outlook, • Handling administrative tasks within SAP, including corporate check processing, expense reporting, time reporting, and other assigned workflows, • Conducting internet research to gather information for executive needs, projects, or meeting preparation, • Receiving, reviewing, and prioritizing incoming requests, issues, and concerns directed to senior leadership; determining appropriate routing, follow-up actions, or responses, including matters of a confidential or sensitive nature, • Interacting regularly with internal executives, stakeholders, employees at all levels, and high-profile external visitors to ensure smooth coordination and high-quality representation of the organization, • Managing general office duties such as maintaining electronic and hard-copy files, distributing mail, answering phones, receiving guests, and overseeing office organization, • Preparing written correspondence, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and readiness for leadership review, • Developing and maintaining spreadsheets and small databases using Microsoft Excel to track information, documentation, or administrative processes, • Coordinating domestic travel arrangements and expense submissions through systems such as Concur and SAP and ensuring compliance with company guidelines, • Monitoring deadlines, tracking open items, and anticipating upcoming needs to ensure leadership is supported proactively, • Maintaining compliance with internal safety expectations and promoting a safe work environment, • Ensuring accuracy and confidentiality when handling sensitive information, documents, or communications, • Independently managing special assignments or requests from leadership, completing work within established deadlines, • Supporting opportunities for process improvements by identifying efficiencies or gaps and recommending updates, • Maintaining professional communication, demonstrating sound judgment, and fostering positive working relationships across stakeholders, internal teams, trustees, customers, and partners, • Demonstrating adaptability while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced setting without compromising detail or accuracy, • Ensuring all deliverables—administrative, logistical, communication-based, or operational—are completed accurately and within timelines set by leadership#INDCEI #ZR
