We're not just offering a job; we're investing in your future and welcoming you into our family., • You will also receive a $1200 tool allowance, and $300 boot allowance...PER YEAR!, • Paid Time Off accrual begins day one!, • HSA with a generous company match!, • Medical coverage through the LARGEST nationwide network!, • FREE online medical and mental healthcare for you and your immediate family!, • 401k contributions upon hire with immediate company match!, • 6 paid Holidays + 3 Floating Holidays, • We will reimburse you for your heavy equipment mechanic tuition!, • Performing scheduled preventative maintenance and advanced repairs on tractor units, • Ensuring all work meets DOT, state, federal, and company standards, • Troubleshooting and repairing systems across broad categories, including:, • Powertrain and driveline, • Suspension, steering, and braking, • Electrical and electronic systems, • HVAC and cooling systems, • Aftertreatment and exhaust, • APU systems, • Completing general repairs for company and customer equipment, • Reading and interpreting manuals, schematics, and diagnostic data, • Ordering necessary parts and supporting inventory control, • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area, • High school diploma or equivalent, • Minimum 2 years of tractor maintenance experience, • Ability to independently complete advanced repairs, • Associate degree (AAS) in Heavy Duty Truck Technology or related field, • 2 or more years of hands‑on tractor repair experience • Strong troubleshooting and repair abilities across major tractor systems, • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and computerized maintenance systems, • Ability to perform Federal DOT inspections, • Clear communication and effective teamwork skills, • Professional conduct, reliability, and attention to detail, • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair documentation About the Role The salary grade for this position ranges from $28.53 to $39.93/hr. Starting pay within this range will be based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
