What you’ll be doing This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Production Controller at our Chalgrove, Oxfordshire site. You will be responsible for processing data items and supporting shipping processes related to high-performance aerospace components. The role involves working closely with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure defect-free products are delivered in line with Health & Safety regulations. You will have the opportunity to work with internal and external stakeholders and play an important part in ensuring the on-time delivery of customer orders, high production throughput, and that stock levels and work in progress are kept at optimal levels. The service you’ll be delivering to customers is world-leading and directly contributes to mission-critical aerospace solutions. We want to learn from you. You’ll help us listen to customers, support them in deploying our product effectively, and act as a knowledgeable representative of our business. Aspects of the role will include: • Working proactively with the PC, PED and QA departments to support the production plan and ensure corrective actions are introduced to eliminate defects., • Processing of contract data requirement lines., • Management of customer orderbook and delivery reports., • Back-up handling of deliveries to the Shipping department., • Collation and review of production paperwork for presentation for customer review., • Checking completed packing / production cards for booking-in errors. Characteristics & Skills: • Familiarity with US Government packing and shipping requirements would be highly beneficial., • Experience in data processing and process coordination within a technical environment., • Experience with planning and organising., • Able to demonstrate solid data analysis and accurate typist skills., • A keen eye for detail and thorough when checking own work., • English and Maths GCSE C+ or above or equivalent., • Strong alignment with the core values and mission of the organisation.
