Youll work closely with managers and partners gaining exposure to high-quality work and strategic tax planning opportunities.Client Portfolio Management:, • Takingownership of corporate tax client portfolios acting as primary contact for day-to-day matters, • Managingcomplex corporation tax computationsand returns for diverse clients, • Leadingtax planning projectsincluding group restructuring capital allowances R&D tax credits and tax-efficient structures, • ManagingHMRC enquiries and disputeswith increasing independence, • Identifyingproactive tax planning opportunitiesand presenting recommendations to clients, • Buildingstrong client relationshipsas a trusted advisor and technical expertTeam Leadership & Development:, • Supervising and mentoringtax seniors and junior staff (typically 2-4 team members), • Reviewing and approvingwork prepared by junior team members to ensure technical accuracy, • Providingcoaching and technical guidanceto support team development, • Contributing torecruitment and onboardingof new team members, • Delegating work effectively and managing team capacityTechnical Advisory & Compliance:, • Advising oncomplex corporate tax mattersincluding group relief loss utilisation and international tax, • Supportingtax due diligence projectsfor corporate transactions, • Preparingtechnical tax advice lettersand client presentations, • Managingtax compliance deadlinesacross your portfolio, • Staying current withtax legislation changesand advising clients proactivelyPractice & Business Development:, • Contributing tobusiness development initiativesincluding proposals pitches and networking, • Identifyingcross-selling opportunitieswithin existing client relationships, • Supportingpractice developmentthrough process improvements and innovation, • Representing the practice atnetworking events and seminars, • Contributing totechnical training and knowledge sharing within the team, • CTA qualified(or ATT qualified and studying towards CTA completion), • Minimum 4-6 years experiencein corporate tax within a UK accountancy practice, • Proven experience managing client portfolioswith increasing independence, • Demonstrated supervisory or mentoring experiencewith junior team members, • Strong technical knowledgeof complex corporate tax matters, • Advanced understanding of UK corporation taxlegislation compliance and planning, • Experience with complex tax mattersincluding group structures capital allowances R&D tax credits, • Knowledge of international taxprinciples and cross-border transactions, • Proficiency with tax software(CCH Alphatax or similar platforms), • Strong analytical skillswith ability to identify tax planning opportunities, • Excellent attention to detailand technical accuracy, • Strong communication skills(written and verbal) for client interaction and team leadership, • Excellent organisational skillswith ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, • Leadership potentialwith ability to motivate and develop team members, • Commercial awarenessand understanding of client business needs, • Proactive solutions-focused approachto problem-solving, • Client-focused
