Job Description 3 West Hospitality in West Chester, PA is looking for one baker to join our 29 person strong team. We are located on 29 E. Gay St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and reliable. Responsibilities • Production Baking: Mix, shape, and bake a diverse range of breads (e.g., country bread, rye) and pastries daily., • Menu Execution: Prepare specialized pastry items, breakfast pastries, and desserts, ensuring high standards for flavor, quality, and presentation., • Ingredient Handling: Operate standard commercial bakery equipment (mixers, sheeters)., • Quality Control: Ensure all products meet strict fine-dining quality standards and consistent, from-scratch, high-quality production., • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere to all health and safety regulations., • Inventory: Assist in managing inventory and, if required, stone milling whole grain flour. Qualifications • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a commercial, high-volume, or artisanal kitchen., • Proven, from-scratch baking experience., • Strong knowledge of dough production, mixing, and baking techniques., • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs., • A passion for culinary excellence and attention to detail.
