The Role We are hiring a Production Travel Specialist with proven hotel operations leadership experience. You must understand how hotels actually function — inventory control, revenue pressure, group block mechanics, escalation channels, and front office realities. This role requires someone who has operated at a supervisory level or above within a hotel environment and can confidently negotiate with General Managers, Directors of Sales, and Revenue Managers. You will own hotel and ground logistics for high-stakes production teams and talent while solving real-time challenges under pressure. This is a fully in-office role. Performance matters. Core Responsibilities Hotel Strategy & Execution • Source and secure 4- and 5-star hotel inventory globally, • Structure and manage group room blocks, • Control cut-off dates, attrition exposure, and rooming lists, • Align hotel placements with production schedules, venues, and shoot locations, • Navigate compression markets and sold-out cities Negotiation & Relationship Management • Negotiate rates, concessions, and contract flexibility, • Work directly with GMs, DOSMs, and Revenue Managers, • Secure value-added amenities and VIP treatment, • Protect margin while maintaining long-term hotel partnerships Production Logistics • Coordinate and manage ground transportation, • Execute last-minute adjustments without disruption, • Solve operational breakdowns quickly and professionally, • Maintain precise internal documentation and billing accuracy, • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure flawless delivery Required Experience (Non-Negotiable) • Minimum 4+ years in hotel operations at a supervisory level or higher, such as:, • Front Office Supervisor or Manager, • Assistant General Manager, • General Manager, • Hotel Office Manager, • Demonstrated experience managing:, • Group room blocks, • High-demand inventory, • Escalations and guest-facing pressure, • Revenue-sensitive negotiations, • Strong negotiation presence and executive-level communication skills Preferred Experience • Production travel (film, TV, music tours, advertising), • Entertainment or VIP client exposure, • Hotel sales experience combined with operational leadership, • Fast-paced agency or service environment, • Hospitality degree Who Thrives Here • Calm under pressure, • Operationally sharp and commercially aware, • Highly organized with strong follow-through, • Direct communicator, • Comfortable making decisions, • Willing to be fully engaged in-office, • Available for occasional after-hours or weekend escalations What This Is Not • Not entry-level, • Not remote or hybrid, • Not suitable for someone without hotel leadership experience, • Not a slow-paced corporate environment What We Offer • Exposure to high-profile entertainment and production clients, • Real operational responsibility, • A performance-driven team culture, • Competitive compensation based on experience, • Opportunity to grow within a specialized, high-standard firm Application Process Submit your resume and a cover letter detailing: • Your hotel leadership experience, • The type and size of properties you’ve operated in This is a full-time, in-office position in Tampa, FL.
